Best, razor

I have tried a few double-edged razors over the years, but this is the Best. Non-Aggressive, shave. I'm still not a fan of the feather razor blade. I prefer a Parker Blade or less aggressive blade. But it is so smooth. Two passes and so smooth no irritation or Nicks. It does have a different angle but you get use to it after 2 days of shaving.

Deeply Disappointed!

I did read some reviews regarding the mildness of the razor before buying. I was not sure what this 'mildness' meant considering the Feather name (the blades are the ultimate). However I soon realised how useless this razor was on my coarse growth. It does not cut!. All it does is push the shave soap down my face. I am an experienced shaver with 4 other razors to choose from. (Rex Ambassador without peer). What a shame. A beautifully crafted razor which does not work for me.

Right razor first try

Bought mine about two years ago. Is mild, so a sharper blade works better. That said, is beautifully balanced, and perfect for everyday or every second or third day, and works well for longer stubble or growth. First, second and third passes are equally comfortable. Can see this being a family heirloom due to build quality.

Revised Review-NOT Disappointed

In all fairness I have to revise my “Disappointed” review of 1st March 2023. It’s all in the angle. I adjusted the razor to a more upright position at face contact and that did the trick. I was used to a more acute angle with my Muhle R41. If I tried the Feather angle with the R 41 I would need a transfusion. I have learned something about shaving from this experience. The Feather is a fine razor. Buy and use with confidence.

Disappointed

Beautifully crafted and presented. Doesn"t cut. I Put it back in the box and retrieved my Muhle R41 which is still the only true one pass razor for a close shave.
